The Monastery of the Holy Martyrs and Orthodox Workers depends upon your support and contributions to enable us to meet our goals and improve the conditions of those we serve. Traditional Orthodox Christianity. Serving God by Serving the Poor and the Poorest of the Poor in America's Inner Cities and Missions. Bringing the truth of Orthodox Christianity to the disenfranchised and marginalized, the poor and forgotten...the Message of the Stable. “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John9:4-6
But we need your help to do this. We share what ever you give us with those we serve., and many times we run out of what they need.
We also need your prayers.
And we need volunteers to serve along side of us.
We need your help. We need your donations. We need your prayers.
The Dayro d' Holy Martyrs - Syriac Orthodox opens its door as a refuge to those who seek a spiritual refuge and as a rejuvenator to those who seek spiritual rejuvenation. We can not do this without your continued help.
May God bless you and always provide for your needs. Your ongoing financial and prayerful support are vital to the growth and survival of our small monastery.
A monastery is not a group of buildings, but, rather, the community that resides in them. And the community she serves. The growth of our brotherhood, in commitment as well as in numbers, is surely a sign of the Lord's blessing. We earnestly pray He continues to shower us with such blessings. Increase in membership brings the monastery an increase in expenses, of course, as well as an increase in responsibilities. But it also brings more hands for the work, more minds to address the problems, and more voices to sing the Lord's praise.
You can use the community’s PayPal account to make donations to the monastery. There is no such thing as a donation which is too small. Even the smallest donation helps. And will make a difference in the life of those we serve.
Personal Checks and Money orders made payable to the Monastery of the Holy Martyrs may be mailed to us at 1000 South Michigan Street, PO Box 1036, Plymouth, Indiana 46563. Or you can just bring them by. We love meeting new friends.
We pray you serve as an agent of His continued blessing.
In anticipation of your generous response to this appeal, we invoke the Lord's mighty blessings upon you and those you love. May He fill you with the best of every good thing throughout the coming year.
May God abundantly reward you for your sharing in His holy work! In anticipation of your generous response to this urgent appeal, we keep you and those you love in our prayers and in our hearts
Do you know how many mothers hear that as they tuck their son or daughter into bed at night? Too many! And I hear mothers tell me this every week. And I see their tears as they tell me.
Our goal is simple. That one mother never hears those words again!
But your unceasing prayers and continued support are needed. We are recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 nonprofit.
Your gift brings not just hope, but also warmth. It is not just making a difference in folks who live on the streets or in abandoned trailers, homes, and buildings. The elderly and disabled live in drafty apartments and homes. And like the homeless, many have no one. They are alone. And that is where you bring hope.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps.
There is no such thing as a donation that is too small. Even the smallest donation helps. And will make a difference in the life of those we serve. Orthodox Worker is reconized by the IRS as a 501c3 nonprofit.
